Scott MacGregor and David Bienvenu are two ex-employees of the Mozilla Foundation that used to work on the famous Thunderbird project, and now they have decided to create a new product, Spicebird, a powerful e-mail client that is not only that, but also wants to become in an all-in-one solution for those who want to have integrated access to email, messenger, google maps, contacts, calendar, and many other applets in just one program.
Spicebird does not want to be another simple e-mail client. The application wants to become in a complete suite of products: Calendars that you can share with your friends or co-workers. Instant messenger (Yahoo, Google Talk, AIM, ICQ and Jabber) to share with your family and friends. RSS reader and the possibility to write and updated your own blog. Google Map search where you can find any city or place in the world. Manager Task, where you can save your important appointments, perfectly classified by days, months and years. Contact Manager, to keep a record of all your friends, family, work contacts, etc., where you have the possibility to add many fields like, organization, work phone, email, cell phone, etc.
Without any doubt, Spicebird will become in a favorite tool of many users around the world. |
